I don't think it's available outside specific European countries yet - and on their website (link below), last month, they made this statement:
Introduction of PENDRA to the market
Pendragon Medical AG has not yet accomplished all targets as originally communicated during our Symposium at the IDF 2003 in Paris.
The data presented at the EASD 2004 in Munich (5th – 9th September) show that at the present time PENDRA is only suitable for a small group of customers. The calibration process, which is crucial for proper performance of PENDRA, is challenging and the percentage of patients successfully passing this calibration process is at the moment too low.
These issues have to be addressed and therefore as next step we will build up co-operations with clinical centers (Centers of competence) in several European countries: In this way we will build up expertise in using PENDRA. Accordingly, PENDRA will only be available to patients enrolled in programs conducted at these centers.
PENDRA will be made available to a larger segment of patients as soon as we have positive feedback from both: the patients enrolled in these programs and physicians being responsible for the management.
Pendragon Medical AG has always been and still is concerned with the proper launch of PENDRA in an extremely sensitive market. Patients, healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations are awaiting this kind of product with extremely high expectations.
