Not on Jetstar but QANTAS I was stopped and physically searched in Coffs Harbour - had to hand over my syringe (had a pump on) & was told before I travel again it was a requirement by the Aust Govt for me to have a letter from my endo to state that I am a d!!!!!! I had id bracelet, id in my wallet to all of the above incl. m'ship card to Diabetes Aust & my NDSS card - needless to say I don't travel by plane anymore - a 4yr old and 22mth old twins don't help either!!!!!
