ME AND THE BIG D

Best/worst/most embarrassing hypo? Had lots of little ones but no big bad ones...yet
Does everyone around you know about your D? Pretty much
Has Diabetes changed anything about you? Much more organized than I used to be
What do you say/do to the food police ? Depends on how I'm feeling. My mum got a mouthful when she asked "should you really be eating a chocolate bar?" when I was having a hypo
Are you a Person with Diabetes or a Diabetic ? Don't really care, being a "diabetic" is easier to say
Best diabetes related rort (faked hypos etc)? The pizza place ALWAYS delivers to our house on time!
Public injections - what's the etiquette? Just do it

Any wisdom to share? It's almost impossible to explain to a non-diabetic what it's really like...but I keep trying!
